Hmm... now you've got me wondering. I use size 13 Options and don't pay attention to gauge. I don't have the pattern in front of me, but do they recommend a specific gauge?

The pattern says approximately 11 sts = 4" (unfelted).

Ok, I finally felted my clogs and while the color seems a bit off (in the picture) they are green and grey. I had them inside out, but they look really cool, and I am in love!

They are still drying and I can't wait until they are done. They are not the best pictures, but I don't have a digital camara.

Also how many skeins of WOTA does it take for a pair of clogs? I've been using Paton's Classic Wool.

Darn it all to heck!!!

I couldn't wait to find out how many skeins it takes......so <----me (stupid, stupid, NO, not stupid...addicted, addicted) I went to knitpicks and I ordered 5 skeins each of 6 different colors, and two skeins of a 7th color. That's right 32 SKEINS!!!!!!!

ARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!! I have NO MORE room for all of this yarn. Sigh, I will just have to comendeer a room in my neighbor's appartment, that's it, I'm taking over their baby's room, he's little, he'll fit in the closet, right?

THANKS!!! This is only the 3rd thing I've felted, and they felted quite nicely, but didn't quite shrink enough. So I bit my nails and shoved the in the dryer for 2 minutes, and sure as my screen name is Letah75, they came out ok!

Thanks. I originally wanted to make it purple/pink clogs but miscalculated the amount of yarn needed and got 2 skeins of purple and 1 of pink. Thankfully, I realized before starting the knitting and was able to start with the right yarn.

Letah, your clogs look great.

For future reference, for a womens size, it takes 4 skeins of WOTA for the base color and 2 skeins of WOTA for the top.

I don't know about mens sizes...
