Cables
I'm doing cables for the first time :D which I have found are quite simple. Except I am finding the stitches that are on the cable needle become very tight when I slip them back onto the LH needle to knit. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

It's normal to have to wrestle with the stitches a bit, afterall they are out of order so the yarn that formed one stitch now has to stretch however many more stitches over.

Make sure that you're slipping the stitches onto the cable needle as if to purl so you don't twist them.

I was wondering if it was because of how I was slipping them. I will be watchful of that and make sure I am slipping them correctly!
