Stockinette Stitch Kimono

Hey everyone...I have another question, I am making a really cute "newborn" Kimono...starting with the Back piece...It's in Stockinette Stitch and it's already "curling" up at the cast-on edge...Any suggestions on what to do...I didn't think to start with garter stitch for a couple of rows first. You could pick up stitches on the edge after you're done and knit a few rows of garter or other stitch for a border. Or crochet in sc around.

Are you following a pattern?? You mention that you're working on the back piece, so I guess that means there'll be some seaming together of pieces....that can sometimes take care of the curling, it also depends on what other finishing instructions the pattern gives.
