How to measure
Hello all: I was wondering if you can tell me the proper way to measure an item, say it says to knit it to 7" do you measure that from the cast on row to the last row just under the needle or do you include the row that is on the needle too

I always measure from the cast on edge to under the needle.

you just measure all the work under your needle. So, you would start right underneath your needle and measure on down baby! lol. good luck and happy knitting!
