Backing for knitted project
I made a sampler afghan with lots of "embellishments" that included embroidery which I am not very good at.
The problem is the back of my work looks less than great and I was thinking about adding some sort of "backing" to the project
Any ideas???

do you sew? you could sew a coordinating fabric onto the back i would think

or knit up another panel to sew on to it...i was going to say in plain garter but the idea of doing that made me a little violent and i don't like throwing things at my maybe in a funky stitch pattern to keep it from being soooooooooo boring you want to poke the needles in your eyes.
