Perhaps many of you already know of this, but I just read about it today I thought it sounded like a worthy cause and an all around nice thing to do.
Someone needs to teach me how to create a link but in the mean time please read about the project here.

I was all over the link and just about in tears. I'm definitely doing this. I already have the yarn and am ready to knit. Right after the baby caps. Socks on hold!!

I've been looking for a "big needle project" to work on when my hands are tired of holding itty bitty needles from socks, but too restless not to knit. I think I've found it!
