How Malabrigo wears over time
I've seen a lot of posts with people using Malabrigo for sweaters and such. I have read on another forum, and it makes perfect sense to me, that Malabrigo, being the supersoft yarn it is, is prone to pilling. Especially in areas that receive a lot of friction, like under the arms and armpits in a sweater. Has anyone here used Malabrigo for a sweater a long time ago, long enough to tell us how it wears over time? I love the feel of Malabrigo, am knitting with it myself at the moment, but I just thought I would bring this up so that people who are thinking of making sweaters with it aren't too disappointed in the near future. Just something to take into account.
