Hi there, I'm new to the forum, and still sort of new to knitting, but doing fine.
I've mastered the basics and increases, decreases, cables etc. but I now find myself in need of some advice.
I want to knit my nephew a cardigan from the Debbie Bliss Baby Knits for Beginners - however my nephew will be four by the time he is ready to wear this cardigan, and the pattern sizes only go up to 24 months.
I am pretty confident that I could figure out the increases for most of the pattern - however it has a shawl collar which requires a number of short (or turning) rows. I am not convinced that I would be able to wing it and get these increases right!
Can anyone advise me on the best way to go about figuring out the increases (rather than just knitting on bigger needles)?
