children tube socks
How do you do children tube socks? Do you just figure out how many sitches to cast on knit a long tube and then do the toe as you would for a normal pair of socks?

I've had this pattern bookmarked for a while, but have never tried it. It seems straight-forward enough. It's sized for adults, but I'm sure you could just cast on fewer stitches for a smaller size.

I used that pattern to make socks for my daughter. I cast on 40-some stitches (40? 44?) and used Moda Dea's Sassy Stripes with size 5 needles; that fit my daughter's size 1.5 foot pretty well.
