Needle and pattern questions
If a pattern calls for DPN, can I use circular needles instead?

Circular needles have a certain limit as to how few stitches it can hold. DPNS are used for small diameter circular knitting - socks, mittens, the tops of hats, etc. If you can comfortably fit the stitches around a circular needle then by all means, but usually if a pattern calls for DPNS it is because the stitch count is too few to work properly on a circular.
