TODDLER socks
I have searched and searched, and can't find a simple pattern for toddler socks. I plan to use one of the self-striping sock yarns, not a worsted weight. I would like the toe to be flat (kitchener stitch, I think) rather than pulled closed to a point, since he is going to be wearing these inside his little shoes.

I have found newborn patterns and child/youth patterns, but nothing for a toddler (currently size 8 shoe, or a 2T/3T).

Any help?

I think that most child size socks would be totally suitable, the only thing you'd need to change is how long you make the sock. And if you make it in a rib (I find that 2x2 rib for the cuff and 3x1 rib for the rest of the sock is best) it will have nice 'hug' to the leg. That said, I'll do a quick look and see if I can find an actual toddler sock pattern.

This is one is nice, it doesn't have a kitchenered toe but that is easily changed:

Here's one more:

If you feel that either of these would be suitable but are worried that the size is too big, you could simply try to use a needle a size or two smaller.

Good luck.

Here's a Toddler Sock pattern:

You can change the directions for the toe, and do a kitchener toe instead.

I just found another toddler sock pattern. This one has eyelet lace, so it probably wouldn't work with self-striping yarn. But, it's still a nice pattern.
