Sweater woes
I am knitting my first sweater and have noticed that the purl rows stand out a bit more than my knit rows. Is this normal? If not will it come out with blocking and washing? Thanks

Purls do stick out a bit. That is natural for that stitch. It will not come out with blocking.

Do you mean with the right side facing, the purl rows stand out more than the knit rows?? It's likely that you knit and purl at different tensions - I think this is fairly common, it is for me anyways. If that's the case, I think that washing and/or blocking will help to even it out.
