I spoke to the Woollery yesterday and they were out of stock for the Traveller, but the new shipment comes into Washington state on Monday. They said mine will be shipped directly from there. What great service - this way the wheel won't go to the East and then back out here to Texas.

Now I must decide what kind of finish to put on her.

Yippee! I loved the traveler I used in my spinning classes and I bet you are going to love it. Are you finishing it yourself or is it already stained? My loaner had the clear coat and it is beautiful. Congratulattions!

Thanks, y'all. It should arrive sometime this week. Probably the day I have a double rehearsal and concert!

Lilyarn - Nice to know you like yours. I'm sure I will too There must be a reason Ashford has been around for so long and so many people own them.

Paula - I will be staining it. I've been looking at various other pieces I have done trying to decide on the color. I may use Watco Danish Oil - it's a nice satin finish and great wood protectant. We'll see, after all my mind could change in 10 minutes
