Jelly Yarn
I really want to knit a purse for my 13 year old daughter for Christmas with the Jelly Yarn but that stuff is booku bucks $$$$$$

Has anyone ever bought it or used it before? I am wondering if it is the same thing as gimp plastic (the stuff kids make bracelets and keychains out of).

Thanks for any help you can provide!!

Well this says it's not flat like lanyard (I think that's what you are talking about, right?) or a cord.

I'd check out Home Depot or Lowe's or whatever hardware place nearby to see what might work though, you never know what you might come across that could work and be so much cheaper!

Here is some on eBay, but her description doesn't match the photo at all!

Thanks, I think the most important part about the description is that it is pliable. I may buy the lanyard stuff anyway and experiment. It can't hurt. It's cheap enough and if it doesn't work, I can give it to my kids to play around with.
