What's spinning?

Just curious....what are you spinning now and what will it be used for?

I finish spinning my cat hair/wool blend, plying it, and then knit it into a change purse. It's blocking now. I'll hopefully sew it up late this evening.

I'm not sure what I want to spin for next.....hmmmmmm.

I just finished plying (like 5 minutes ago) one of my thank-you yarns, an interesting blend: 70% navajo churro, 30% mohair. It's a bit on the scratchy side but it turned out well. There's a pic of the first half here...now I just have to give the second half a bath, dry it, and send it on its merry way. :D

I'm torn as to what to start next, because the next person on my list requested 100g of sock yarn, and while I can do that with the spindle, it would be sooooo much quicker on the wheel! I think I might start on the next one on my list, in the hopes that the wheel will arrive this week.

*runs off to dye some more roving*

Wow you've been busy. I decided to make a dent in my merino. Plain white with not real project in mind WPI is about 30.

I am spinning up some black Merino that I got in a swap. Soooo lovely. After that more cotton for a blanket I am knitting.

If that's me, I can either wait for your wheel or if it's easier I'll take whatever that beautiful roving is above this post

Spunky Eclectic Romney (fiber of the month club October). I am pretty happy with it! I have a bunch more to ply.
