I have resigned myself
I swear, my wheel is not going to come until next year, if ever. It's making me crazy.

I've spun over 2000 yards on my spindle in the last 3 weeks. I try not to think about how much faster the wheel would have been. I keep looking at these piles and piles of roving I still have to spin (at last count, over two pounds) and the thought of spindling it all makes me ...not that I don't enjoy it, 'cause I do, but man, I really, really can't wait to get my wheel.

What Happened?
Hi Julie,
What happened, did Woodland Woolworks not have it in stock??!! Oh my gosh, I am still waiting for an answer from Fricke to the emails and voicemails I left before I found WW had it in stock. Have you considered calling Carolina Homespun (also a dealer) to see if she has one in stock and changing your order?

I feel so frustrated for you!

Paula
p.s. you are gonna LOVE it when it finally arrives!

Paula, Woodland didn't have any more in stock so they are having it drop shipped from Fricke. (uh oh, they never answered any of my calls or e-mails either.) If I don't hear anything by the 2 week mark, I will call somewhere else -- I did put an alert on my credit card so they will e-mail me if/when the charge goes through.

In other news...I finished dyeing your roving today I dyed it once and it was a little too bright-cherry-red, so I overdyed it and it is now a fab deep red. :D As soon as it dries (a day or two depending on the weather) I will get it in the mail to you!

That 2 pounds won't last long once the wheel gets there! Better go looking for more fiber!!!

Julie, Sure thought by now you would have your wheel. This is just so unfair!

Paula

I mailed it yesterday, Paula!

I'm laughing at the thought that I will finish spindling all of this yarn, then my wheel will arrive but I'll be too tired of spinning to use it.

Nope, won't happen - never too tired of spinning!

I agree - won't happen! I am just fascinated by this nifty wheel.

As far as the fricke delay, I can't decide whether I think this is why there are so few dealers or whether it's such a cool wheel (like the wait for the lendrum) there is a long wait for it. I prefer the coolness.
