Round Placemat pattern needed
Hello,

Does anyone know of a pattern for a round placemat? My aunt would really like some for her round glass table and can't find any she likes at a store, I'd love to knit her up some but I haven't been able to find any and thought I would ask the experts, you all are so wonderful!!

Thank you,

April in SC

Here are some patterns to go through. I didn't check them all, so I don't know if there are any round ones.

You could also do a mini version of the pinwheel baby blanket

I didn't originally write this pattern as a placemat, but a towel to go with the washcloths I designed, but, if you are interested in a flower placemat you could try one of these, they are round flowers

Thank you so much! That is great and silly me that is the ONE place I didn't look! lol I was at my aunts last night when I wrote here, I told her how great you all were and sure enough before I left you had sent the link, I showed her and she liked it a lot, now I went back just now on my own computer and the pattern is gone, how strange! Thank goodness we should be able to pull it up from her history on her computer.

Thank you so much!

Being as new to knitting as I am, I never thought of that idea but that is such a wonderful pattern I can't wait to try, thank you for sending it! My aunt is going to have so many different placemats she may have wished she hadn't asked!

OMGosh, you did a fantastic job! Those are totally awesome! I could make her a whole set, thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your pattern! You really did such a great job, they are beautiful!! I was reading the profiles in my Stitch n' Bitch and some of the gal's there hadn't been knitting long before they made their own patterns and shared them for the book and I told my daughter maybe one day I will be able to do that, then I told her probably not since I'm not very artistic, I would never "think" up something to do, like your washcloths as "flowers".... I'm so glad their are people as artistic as you out there or I would never have done anything but look at my yarn wondering what I should make with it! LOL

Thanks again,

OH my, you certainly made my day! How kind you are. I'm happy that you like them! Trust me, designing is not hard, I bet you fall into it one day just like I did
