Spinners needed for Amish Memory Shawl Project
I'm planning to knit for this project but they are still needing spinners, and I thought some folks from here might be interested. These two bloggers are getting knitters and spinners to work together to make simple black shawls for the mothers, sisters, and grandmothers of the little girls who were killed at the Amish school house last week. They are teaming up spinners and knitters, but they currently have a disproportionately high number of knitters to spinners. I thought some of y'all might want to help.

Do they still have room for knitters?

I am a descendent of a Menonite family, and while I don't spin, I would really like to knit for this project.

I'm sure the quilting community has been very busy making quilts for the ladies as well.
