This is a silly question, but I've just been knitting scarves with the garter stitch and would like to try different stitches.
So ... what exactly is a row?
Is a row knitting across completely, and when you "flip it", is that another row? Or is a row knitting across AND flipping it?
And when doing the seed stitch, for example, 20 stitches alternating knit and purl, when I flip it, do I knit and purl back or purl and knit back?
Thank you so much!!
