When knitting and pattern calls to "Turn work"---what does that mean? Up or down, flipped, left or right, clockwise? This may be a dumb question, but I don't get it
It means to take your needle in your right hand it put it in your left hand and take your needle in your left hand and put it in your right. You just switch the needles in your hands.

I enjoy reading, quilting (started 10/11/2003), bread baking, purse making, making fabric bowls. I use to macramé and decorate cakes.
I started hand knitting (10/01/2005) and got my embroidery machine for Christmas 2005. I had 2 Bond Incredible Sweater Machines given to me in Feb. of 2007 that I'm really enjoying. http://susies1955.myphotoalbum.com/ http://susieshobbyspot.blogspot.com/
Just turn your work around, as though you were at the end of a row. You likely won't be finished a row when it tells you to do this, but act as if you were - turn it around and then continue with the instructions.
