bulky wool yarn that doesn't shrink
i just purchased loads of bulky wool yarn in order to felt and have discovered that it does not shrink. does anyone have any ideas as to what to make with this yarn or whether i could make the felted patterns i had planned on making and how would they turn out? they were mostly hats and bags.

There are tons of patterns for things you can make with superwash bulky wool, and what's nice about using bulky yarn is that they knit up quickly. Of course you can also make unfelted scarves, hats, or bags.

Is there a particular style you like (v-neck, cardigans, etc.)? Anybody you can knit gifts for? What brand is your yarn?

For example, here's a purse using nonfelted bulky weight yarn.

and another

Or you could make a throw or pillow covers...the possibilities are endless!

bulky yarn wool non-shrink
thank you for your response but none of the patterns is what i wanted. i purchased a book of felted purses and felted hat patterns which i really liked and wanted to make. the hats all had brims and the purses were really different. how would they turn out if i knitted them non felted?
i cannot return yarn because i purchased it in mexico from a weaver.

If you follow the pattern and don't felt them, they'll be HUGE!
