um ive sewn before, but how do u tie the yarn to the wool needle? cant do it like thread, doubleing over will make it too thick, so how do i knot the ends? so that the yarn wont pop through?

You don't need to knot the ends - thread the yarn, single strand unless otherwise called for, work the seam and then all loose ends can just be woven in until they are secure.
