Help- Emily Ocker's Cast on

Need to cast on with Emily Ocker's cast on. I have several instructions (no pics) but just can't seem to understand what I should be doing here. Anyone who can help. Thanks, Sherry

Well, I see from the pix how it's done, but it would be slow compared to long tail.

It's used to make a circular cast on and you can cinch it up to close it without a hole. I do find I don't get much of a hole using just about any other CO and joining though.
