Girls, You Are Amazing!
Hey Girls,
This afternoon, we met again with our "Knitting Angel" and she taught us how to pick up stitches on our Booga Bag and knit in the round!

Can I just say how in awe I am of you all and how gifted and talented you are. I wondered how in the world we would start coming up the sides and I just freaked out when she taught us...but I learned it! Now, we are starting to knit in the round....THAT'S THE COOLEST THING IN THE WORLD! And after about 10 more rows, I GET TO CHANGE MY COLOR...she taught us how to do that too!

I LOVE is so incredible...the creativity is endless and my friend and I are having a blast!

Saturday, we learn how to do I-Chord...YIPPEE! I'm also going to take my 1 year old Grand daughter Kira, down to the yarn shop to try on this adorable poncho that the owner made and she is going to show me and tell me how to make it in her size! How cool is that?

Now, I'm understanding what you all have been talking about...LOL!

We were just going crazy in the Yarn Shop I understand!

Knitting in the round and loving it,

Apology To The Guys!
Hey Guys!
Sorry that I always start out with "Hey Girls"! Guess it's just a habit and yes, I did know that there were guys on here that knit!

I'm getting ready to change colors for the first time...this is a blast...what a great item to knit for a beginner! I did already knit two washcloths, as well. I will post before and after pictures of my Booga!

It's really hard to stop knitting, isn't it? LOL!

Have a great evening and thanks for all the encouragement!

Merry, who loves Circular Needles and knitting in the round!

Isn't it sad that everyone can't understand the concept of how "cool" knitting is? lol I'm so glad you've discovered the wonderful, yet sometimes frustrating, exciting world of knitting? I've been hooked for 2 yrs... and wish I had been doing it all my life... Continue the excitement and joy...

Yup! It's hard to stop knitting and it's impossible to stop collecting patterns, yarns and ideas! And isn't that wonderful!? Welcome to the world of the knitter, Merryknitter. I think you'll do very well. Always keep that enthusiasm, even through frogging and tinking and frustrating problems, cause there will be some of those along the way, but just shout! There are people here who will be happy to help you, and solve the problems. Welcome to the wonderful world of knitting! samm
