Blocking

I am knitting the Branching out scarf. I used a wool/acrylic blend. Would it be possible to block this? I know that you can block wool, but I wasn't sure because of the acrylic.

A lot depends on the percentage. Since it's lace, I'd try to block it no matter what, since lace really needs it.

The yarn is 80% acrylic, 20% wool.

I'd still give it a wetting and lay it flat to dry--it can't hurt, and it will help the lace to relax.

I've "steamblocked" my 100% syntetic lace scarf. It worked pretty well, doesn't curl up and the stitched look much more even.
