I hear there is a yarn store in Davidson, is that near North Charlotte? Maybe we can seek that one out on the next venture.
Have fun, I hate to miss!!

Oh phooey! I can't make it! I had been wondering when the NC knitters were going to start trying to rival the IL knitters (since there are so many of us)!! And Charlotte is only 2 hours away so it wouldn't be a problem. Except i can't do this Saturday. ARGH!

I hope that you ladies have a wonderful time. Next time I would like to be there if i can.

We need to try and outdo the "Chix with Stix" posse! (that means you, Hildie!!)

I wanted to throw something out at you guys.

Since there are only a few of us meeting, I am wondering if you all would mind going to my cousin's yarn store in my car. It's not that much longer of a drive, and she has MALABRIGO!!!! Plus, I know we'd get a WARM welcome from her. I just think we would be better taken care of at her shop than anywhere else.

What do you guys think?

Thanks for the offer, but I just can't make it this Saturday...too many things going on around home right now! I promise to try and make it to the next one....

I'm totally fine with that. I checked out her website already, actually. It looks yummiferous.

Does she have Koigu?

I agree. We totally have to have another one. Just make sure it's in Spring! I don't want to miss the big one because of this dreadful test.

We will DEFINITELY have another one! I have a feeling we'll be having LOTS of North Carolina knit-togethers, in various parts of the state!

I'll check with my cousin about Koigu. I'm not sure what all she carries, because I always get distracted by the Malabrigo and Debbie Bliss Pure Silk!!

Here is the yarn shop I'm referring to: http://www.cottageyarninc.com/

Here is the list of yarns I KNOW she carries, because they are listed on her website, but I'm sure she offers more now. The website doesn't get updated that often.
Berroco, Plymouth, Noro, Cascade, Karabella, Colinette, Crystal Palace
OnLine, Louisa Harding, Artful Yarns, Debbie Bliss, Ella Rae, Sirdar
Reynolds, Gedifra, Araucania, Laines du Nord, Elizabeth Austin, Katia
Schulana, Malabrigo
