Thanks shandeh. Wow!!! you really know about everything. I'm going to look into that see if I can afford to go to any of those events.

Feb 17th is fine with me. I'm not sure about the rest of the group. It's the weekend after Valentine's day, so people might be celebrating that weekend.

I just found out that there is a yarn shop like to miles from my house. I might go this afternoon and check it out.

Ok, I gotta go now. I haven't have breakfast and I' m starving.

Mid-March is the earliest I can meet - so I'll see you guys at the Spring meet up.

Cool. Two commitments so far. That's a good thing. Let's try to make it on the north side of town, so other knitters can come that didn't come last time.

Any suggestions on a good place to meet on the north side of Charlotte?

Yay for willing babysitters!

I'm all for choosing a place with lots of room for us to sit and knit. I think we deserve a relaxing day of knitting and talking together in a nice, warm place. Let's keep our fingers crossed for good weather and safe driving conditions!

They've been predicting a change in our weather, saying we might get snow soon. I don't mind the snow....it's the ICE I hate!

Right now, the 17th works for me....I'll have to check a couple of things before I commit, but I'd love to come!

Today I've been wondering what it would be like to knit in candlelight. Anyone else get that feeling from the forecast?
