OH Sandy, I hope that you feel much better very quickly! If it's any consolation, I won't be doing a lot of kip, either, I sprained both ankles (while on my crutches, I am a true clutz? klutz?! sp?!) so I will be knitting a bit at our daughter's dance recital instead of all over town! If it were not for the recital, I would be knitting in bed!
I hope you are better soon, take care of yourself!!

Lestrella, I hope you aren't hurt too bad. Falling down stairs isn't fun. well duh, but you know what I mean.

Didn't get to do any KIP yet and I might not get a chance too.

BTW, the Mapquest directions to Dan Nicholas are wrong.

Not readily at hand, I don't. Must remedy that.

I'm a brunette now anyway.

Well, knitting4babybear and myself managed to get Sandy out of her house for a while anyway. We convinced her that going to a book store close to her house where she could sit and kip for a while would be excellent therapy for her knee. I got my grandmaw to watch my kids for a few hours, and we had a really good time. Not as good as it could have been with everyone, but better than meeting up with no one. knitting4babybear gave us a bunch of really great yarn too!! I will try to post a picture of it later. There is a lot of it!! Anyway, hope the rest of y'all had a great WWKIP day. hopefully we will have better luck getting together next time!

Thank you all for the WONDERFUL well-wishes!

Lestrella, your fall sounds HORRIBLE!
(Are you feeling better now?)

As Melissa said, some of us in Charlotte were able to get together to knit in public for a short time. My knee began to feel a bit better, and we REALLY wanted to honor the "Knit in Public" day. I'm SO glad we did!

Sweet knitting4babybear gave us LOTS of yarn for our stash, to make room in HER stash for more yarn.

Here's hoping we get a FULL get-together again soon!

Oh dear! We will DEFINITELY need to get that resolved before we plan another get-together there.
