I'm so excited a yarn shop will be close to me! Hickory is maybe 30 minutes from my house! xxx Now, to just get enough money for yarn.

meet up?
So when can we have a meetup? I'm just eager to meet and knit in a group. I've been to one in Charlotte (my only one) and I'm just itchin' to do that again. :XY: Can we set one up? Please!

3 1/2 hours, It takes me 4 hours or so to go to my son's. He lives in Spartenburg, SC. I usually go down 95 to florence then go to **** to columbia ( I think ), my direction are around here some where. So I guess I won't get to go unless I take a trip to see him and my grandson!

It will probably be a few months before we can get together again, because it's just too dang HOT now!

I'm thinking that we can plan a get-together in September.

Until then, we'll just have to commune in here.

If I were going to Asheville, I would check out Earth Guild, because I've always been fascinated by what I've heard about that place.

But, then again....I'm a spinner.

I've heard good things about Earth Guild too. Let us know how it is if you stop by.

Shandeh, if I didn't know better, I'd say you had it out for me. Now that I'm off for summer...and no get togethers? Maybe by then I'll have my shawl finished so I can show it to you. Stay cool!
