What a cutie!!! She is adorable!!!

I just got my ralvery invite but I'm having problems signing in.

Knitting club is going well. i want to get the whole school involve in a charity project. I just send an article for the newsletter asking everyone to help in our efforts of providing hats and blankets for the preemie babies at a local hospital during the holiday season. I hope to get a great response.

My DH gave me a new digital camera for my birthday. He broke mine, accidentally, when he was in Italy last month.

I can't believe Fiber fest is right around the corner. I can't wait!!!

I am 5609 in line for Ravelry They are adding people so fast. when I signed up, Oct. 6 there was over 14,000 and I thought I'd never see the light. Now I can start to see a beam trying to poke out to let me IN.

So far in the forum, I've found the following Carolina knitters:
jeskatkel (Dallas)
tmsl (Hickory)
maman (Charlotte)
sop 1 (Charlotte)
hedgehog (Greensboro)
Liliyarn (Greenville, SC)
Danielle (Waynesvegas, NC)
benniesma (NC)
Seedy (NC)
foothills (Mount Airy, NC)

I haven't spoken to all of you, but maybe that can change now!

Her KH name is Liliyarn - you could just do a search for her profile, but I've found it here for you.

When you click that link, it will take you to her profile. Just scroll down the page, and look on the right side of the page. You'll see the option to "send a private message". Good luck!

SAFF was amazing!
I really enjoyed the trip, the yarn, the spinning wheels, the alpacas.
And I got to meet misha rf, tsmith, and Leah22b!
You can read all about it and see more photos here:

i'll be going to wilmington on saturday and coming back on sunday. i'll be at the wilmington hilton riverside. does anyone know of any LYSs downtown? i would LOOOOVE to check them out while i'm there. besides switching up my knitting atmosphere (and enjoying my trackout ), that's kind of the point of going. my mom will be there for a few days for an art teachers' convention and i thought i'd share her hotel bill for a night.

oh yeah. last year she went to a great little shop that was run by a lady who's been on several daytime talk shows. she knits really neat little neck things (but they're really expensive). mom can't remember the name of it. has anybody here heard of it?

I recieved today the most wonderful gift. YARN. A lady that lived near my parents passed away. Well Sandy lets she say her stash would blow your away. Anyway, I got first pick. Sad news is that it's all in NM so I had to do it via some very bad pictures. But I got the box in today and YUMMMMMMY YUM YUM.

She didn't put in one set I had asked about and we got our wires crossed on another, but all in all it's a lotta yarn.

I'll post pictures later.

Michelle

Thanks Sandy.

I have just a little over 1500 people in front of me, so I should have my invite by mid-next week.
