Pattern for nice Man Scarf?

any thoughts on a pattern for a nice scarf for a gentlemen?

I'll be curious about the same thing! I just picked up some Kool Wool for CHEAP from the clearance area Hobby Lobby, a 4 skeins of a really nice MANLY olive color and another heathered tan color. I was thinking maybe just a 2 x 2 or 3 x 3 rib, with a few stripes at either end of the heathered color, the rest in the olive.

KPC has a pattern called the BIL Racing Stripes scarf. I made a few to have on hand for extra Christmas gifts. They are really simple and look nice - I used heather gray and black bulky wool.

Last Minute Knitted Gifts has a cashmere scarf that they call their boyfriend scarf because it's so well recieved.
