need help with needles for this pattern
Hi,
I would like to try this pattern:http://www.littlebellesoakers.com/do...tspattern.html
but the pattern calls for 4 different needles. the gauge is 5st/in. I have to go up in needle size to achieve this gauge,so I have size 10.5 dpn's can I just use these throughout the pattern? I can't seem to find 12" circ's in any size locally, and the only place that seels 16" circs is my lys and she charges 15 bucks for them. Since I'm not sure how this pattern is gonna turn out I really don't want to spend that much just on needles.
thanks,
maranda

I believe that there are a couple of other KH'ers working on these very soakers right now. Maybe if you change your title to include the name of the pattern, they'll see your post and be able to tell you what they're using. (I would think that you could use DPNs instead of 12" circs, but I haven't read through the pattern very thoroughly.)

If I were doing this pattern, I would get KnitPicks Options needle tips in sizes 6 and 8 and order 1 40" cable set and would use the Magic Loop knitting technique.

Cost would be roughly $13 plus shipping. Amy has a Magic Loop video here.
