Christmas Stocking KAL
Make one for your kids, your SO, your pet even.
Any pattern, any style, any yarn. Just make it Christmas-y.

I'm going to do one for my Mom and load it up with goodies!

I was thinking about making one, too! I think the white cabled one in Holiday Vogue would be perfect for my youngest...but, I still don't know, depends on how Lacevember goes.

I was thinking about it, too. Just might give it a try if I can find a pattern I like!

aineepooh,

This would be a great way to learn sock knitting principals! Larger needles and yarn and you only need to knit one!

I'm in! I just finished one (haven't had a chance to take a photo yet, it's laying out drying right now) and I need to knit at least two more before Christmas!

I made four of them for my grands using this http://www.lunaticcafe.com/Patterns/...20Stocking.pdf pattern.

Three were made with Strata Self Striping yarn and the third was designed to remind one of a certain famous clown fish.

Yarnlady, those are seriously cute, especially the "famous" clown fish one!

I worked on my second stocking yesterday. It's done with interlac and I made more mistakes! I think I have knit this sock 3 times over already and I'm barely started LOL I had to tink back so many times. I took an epsom salts bath, it helps my focus, so maybe today I'll have smoother knitting!
