question on how to change a pattern

ok i can't find what i want so i'm trying to improvise... (sp)

how do i make this with cables?

does anyone know where i can find a pattern like this with cables?

Do you want to just add a cable up the front or all the way around? You can pretty much do what you want, just add a stitch or two for each cable on the increase row, and decrease on the cable at the top on your last row. I can't be to specific because I haven't done it, but that's the way cabled patterns generally work.
