It's gorgeous! It looks beautiful on you. Good job! Was the pattern hard? I've never tried lace before but want to try something easy the first time. I love the yarn you used!

Swallotail
This is the second lace project I have done. The first was Branching Out. I can't say it was hard, but I did have to unknit--a few times! The alpaca (one of my favorite yarns) was hairy, and the fibers stuck too much, making it frustrating to go back to fix mis-stitches.

I had a great time knitting it. I wouldn't say it was hard and I do recommend the pattern. I used a sock yarn and #7 needles, which made it turn out bigger than the pattern suggests. I like it that way!

Wow! It's absolutely beautiful. It looks so pretty on both you and your daughter.

The trees on your street are really pretty ~ they're changing colors a little bit like ours do here. Not like back East, but we do have some beautiful colors here in So. Cal.!

I will have to try lace knitting and start on something easy.

Will you explain about blocking the points? It looks like you basted them to the sheet or whatever it is on.
