OT- The emu arrived!
I have a friend who had 3 emus (emi?) as they've matured two of them paired off and were treating the third badly (by human standards - not letting it eat, banishing it to the far corner of the pen) and she felt it could have a better quality of life away from the others. So I said I'd love to give it a home.

It makes the most amazing sounds, like a drum, and is very curious but not at all aggressive.

I thought I'd share a picture with you all.

Omigosh! Emus are cool, they're very nosy. Watch your jewelry, they like to peck at it!
I hope he/she is happier there, it looks like he has a great place to roam.

Omigosh! What a neat "pet"! I don't suppose you can make emu yarn can you?

When asking questions ALWAYS post the name and a link for the pattern if you have it.
