STRAIGHT NEEDLE QUESTION
I am doing a rib and cable pattern, and the pattern goes like this:

k2 p2 k2 p3 k8 p3 k2 p2 k2 p2 k2

When I turn this, do I knit the purls and purl the knits, if I am turning the work? I can't remember, and I cant find a good example.

Thank you

You will knit the knits and purl the purls as they face you on the wrong side. For example, your last 2 stitches of the first (right side) row are K2, so when you turn your work around and look at them on the wrong side you will see that they are purls, so you will purl them.

So it would look like this (example):

k2 p2 k2 p3 k8 p3 k2 p2 k2

turn

p2 k2 p2 k3 p8 k3 p2 k2 p2
