No I've never worn cat socks. Pet fur is a lot like angora. Very fluffy and hot. So in all reality they wouldn't make very good socks. Well, if you live in a place that gets below 0 then maybe....or I could just throw in a tiny bit for a fuzziness factor....

Ew, like angora? It gives me the sniffles, as does the cat hair sheen on everything in the house. Guess I won't bother sending the cat hair

Becka, I'd love to get selected as your pal! I'd be perfectly happy to knit with freshly harvested silk, or pure virgin hair. It would definitely suit the fiber snob in me.

It's so heart warming....that someone would make that sacrafice for rebecca's *perfect* socks......now how can she say she isn't loved??? We're shaving our heads for her....and I'll tell you what since you're shaving your head, and I'll mix it with silk and unicorn mane.....plus I'll knit it using the feathers from the golden goose while sitting in rupunzelle's tower being entertained by the singing toad. That should make some special socks....good enough for becca's tastes....

I dunno...she's pretty picky. I'll bet she'll have a problem with the unicorn mane...it probably needs to be a virgin unicorn, born on the first full moon after the summer solstice but NOT if that full moon occurs on a Monday.
