oh, and when i received them my daughter immediately confiscated them, so I just have to post a pic of her modelling them as well, mind the partial nudity this is the one she is most 'decent' in....

The part where you can't see her butt or anything else inappropriate.

Beautiful!!

Kid's cute, too.

My mom (jbird05) and I will have our socks in the mail on Tuesday (Monday being a holiday) for our secret pal, so have no fear they aren't lost, just fashionably late . We are a bit behind, we apologize but the last 2/3 weeks have been VERY busy, more so than we expected.

I will post pictures of our socks that our secret pals have knitted tomorrow. They are just beautiful!

Oh thank God I am so glad you like them Lieke I was so worried because I never knit socks before and I couldn't figure out how to do the short row heel
Well, I don't know what you did to your heel, but they are really comfortable. I really need to lean that. What did you do? If I knit with yarn this thick, I definitely feel where I picked up the stitches, but with your socks not at all. I really love them and I'm never gonna take them off again. (ok, just quickly to wash them)

OMG, I can't believe a couple of you are keeping track of who has socks and by whom!!

I love it!!

*wonders if, as the swap organizer, she should have done that herself*

Sources say: Not enough information.

Angelia, I don't think you needed to keep track. I'm just doing it cause I was trying to figure out who was knitting for me. I think I figured it out, but I'm just waiting for the post office to send them.
