it seems weird to me that they are already casting a movie based on a book that apparently hasn't been released yet and doesn't have a director or producer. I suppose this happens a lot, i don't know anything about the industry beyond the fact that i am in the theatre knitting just about every weekend. It still just seem odd...

Well, I am looking forward to it.

According to Amazon it's to be released in January so the book has most likely been done for awhile. I'm sure we don't know all the details. I'll let them worry about it.

From the sound of it, I'll probably be too old and feeble (or maybe dead) to get to the movie theater when it finally does come out.

Why do they raise your hopes and then dash apart? :(

I've read that Julia Roberts is a big-time knitter. I think it is a little strange that the movie is being planned before the book even comes out, too.
