knit the knits and purl the purls
I have a pattern that tells me to:
Row 1: k2, p2 to the end
Row 2: knit the knits and purl the purls

I'm unsure of what it means to knit the knits and purl the purls. Could you help?

Ohhhh..this is the FIRST thing I tell people when they learn to knit. Learn what the stitches look like.. it helps so much!

Anyhoo.. the knit stitches look like little v's and the purls look like a bump.
