Knitting with Noro Kureyon

Has anyone used this yarn? It's a wool yarn and very nice to work with.
Recently, I knitted an entrelac hat with it for my grandaughter. Her mom
washed the hat and it stretched out, so it no longer fits. Is this common
with this yarn? I'm thinking of picking up stitches along the edge, knitting
down in ribbing for a few rows. Is this likely to pull it together?

Any help or advise would be appreciated.

Many natural yarns get bigger with wetting--which is why they suggest blocking the swatch.

If you put ribbing around with needles a couple of sizes smaller, and reducing the number of edge stitches by 10 percent, you should be good to go.
