FO:bias scarf
Thanks to Sue, my scarf turned out as planned!

Yarn: 100% Merino from 100purewool.com (same as Malabrigo!)
Colorway: clay
Needles: size 9

I love the way the scarf drapes. Since I only had one skein of this color, the keyhole was a great way to make a shorter scarf. I made it for my sister and I think I may have a hard time parting with it.

Oh yay! It turned out very well. Good Job!

The pattern is a basic one I sorta made up for Candy and it's here --
http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting...ic.php?t=20707 Go down to my post that's the second from the bottom of page 1. There's a variation for the slit on page 2.

Thanks for the many compliments!

I just want to add that I slipped the first stitch purlwise on every row including on each side of the divide. I used the KFB increase, but if anyone wants to play around with it, the M1 increase might be less noticeable. No one will see or notice the increase side of my scarf, but I would try it differently next time.

My scarf is 26 inches to the divide, then about 3 inches of divide, rejoin and knit 6 more inches. It is about 5-1/2 inches wide. I used almost all of a 218 yard skein of worsted weight yarn.

This was such a fun scarf!

Yeah kfb works okay as the first st, but if you're going to slip the edge, then a M1 would probably look better.
