? on Fiber Trends Felt Clogs Gauge
I have always been right on gauge with my previous projects but I am not getting the correct gauge for these clogs. I am using two strands, like the pattern calls for, of Cascade 220 and I have tried 13 and 15 size needles and I am not getting 9 stitches for every 4 inches. I am getting with size 15 9 stitches per 3 inches. UGH!

What am I doing wrong or reading incorrectly?

HELP,

Karen -

I didn't check for guage when I did mine..... I just did the Women's medium thinking they'd be huge and I would felt them down to my size. I'm not sure what other did... it might not be a big deal for the clogs to have it spot on.

I didn't check my gauge on them either.

I've done two felting projects. One turned out really nice and the other was a hat and it never did felt down enough to wear. So I thought I might prevent a mistake and wasted money.

I have one of those new washing machines that don't have center agitation. It agitates with how the water is moved through the machine. UGH!
