I was volunteering at the greyhound rescue tonight and one of the women there was talking about how the dogs can smell the difference when she comes straight from the barn. She has llamas and alpacas. I said I have an uncle who has some llamas, I've been meaning to interogate him about getting some wool because I've been learning to spin. Apparently she has an excess of fiber
, so when I get back from Australia (Because thats pretty much when I'll have time and space to spin again) I can get some to spin
. It can either be prepared up to roving for me, or I can prepare it myself. I think I need to get a wheel, because there's only so much I can spin on a drop spindle.
