My first hanks!
Through all the frustration and bad temperament, I give you the three little hanks that I have created. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with them.

Try 1.

Try 2.

Try 3.

I'm thinking of dying some of the roving because I'm getting bored of all the white.

Little felted cel phone bag? Or not felted...
Coin purse.
Enough to make a hat?

Dying does help break up the boredom of spinning. Kool aid is non toxic and doesn't require a huge investment. Give it a try. Dye some of your yarn...you could do stripes of white and ??? some other color.

Yes, you could dye some of your roving then ply it with the white stuff...cool barberpole yarn!

Hey Jenelle - I had my first spinning lesson yesterday and mine looks just like yours! I was going to make felted potholders or coasters from it...

Thanks everyone. :D

I called my mom about an hour ago and told her to pick me up some kool-aid. I'll be dying about an ounce of roving to see how I like it. I'm all excited!
