The butterflies are great! Did you need to starch them the get them to stand up well or do they stay on their own?

It's a little too heavy; its a size 3 thread, almost double the weight, I guess? There are a lot of really pretty Senso colors though! That might be the way to go for something a little heavier like placemats though... hm.... :thinking:

The butterflies are pretty stiff on their own, actually. They're essentially an octagon that gets folded in half. The pattern is here.

I'd like to starch the doily itself though; need to get some of the spray stuff.
