I was just looking at some of the finished projects and there are a couple refering to enterlac. Is this the same thing as intarsia?

Entrelac and intarsia are not the same. Here is a decent description of entrelac.

In intarsia, blocks of different colours are worked with seperate balls of yarn that are not carried across the back of the work like you would in fair isle knitting.
