Reversible Cable Scarf and Headband
This is for DH for XMAS. It is a Reversible Cable Scarf that our very own Yvonne designed and I saved this from back in March, 06. I enjoyed making it--pattern was easy to follow and it looks awesome. I wanted a headband to match so I made up this simple cabled one.

Notice the two cables on one side and three on the other.

I made them out of Baby Alpaca and think the color looks great with his brown leather jacket.

Here is the pattern Reversible Cable Scarf
It really did knit up fast and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for a nice scarf.

Thanks Yvonne!!!

Those are really nice! I like the colors and the cables.

Does the alpaca hold up ok to a headband? Just wondering since I know it tends not to have the bounce back that wool does, but would be so soft!

How cool is it to see that a pattern designed personally is actually liked by someone else, and then KNIT and photographed. This is so neat. This made my day!

Yvonne,

I was hoping that you would see this post.

I really loved making this scarf. I gave your pattern to a friend and she is making a red one out of alpaca for her sister for Xmas.

Thanks again,

Carla

Very nice! That yarn looks yummy and soft (not to mention, a pretty color!).
