to make a turtleneck
I'm making a sweater in the round from the bottom up. The pattern is for a crew neck. Can I just keep knitting the rib to make a turtleneck? Or are there are other shape issues I need to be concerned about?

I've changed turtlenecks to crewnecks by just knitting fewer rows, so I imagine that you could do the opposite by knitting more rows.

In order for the turtleneck to not be too tight, you want to go up a needle size about 2 inches into the turtleneck.

Still trying to convince Henry the cat that knitting is a spectator sport!
